How to Pair Mobile with Windows 10 PC over Bluetooth

Every now and then we need to transfer data between our mobile and computer. We have different options to do so. The most convenient option to transfer small amount of data is using bluetooth. Bluetooth pairing is also needed to use the latest feature of windows 10 that is Dynamic Lock. Which measures the bluetooth radio signal strength to know your proximity to the computer and locks it if you move a handsome distance away from your computer.

This step by step graphical guide will show you how to connect/pair your mobile phone with PC having windows 10.

Step 1: Click on Start Menu and then open settings

Step 2: In the next window click on Devices

Step 3: In the next window first turn on the Bluetooth and then click on the + Add Bluetooth or Other Device

Step 4: Click on Bluetooth

Step 5: Once the device is detected then click on connect in windows as well as on your mobile after confirming the PIN

Step 6: Click Done once the device is connected

Step 7: Now your device should show up under Other Devices
