Using Windows 10's Dynamic Lock to protect your PC while you move away
What is a Dynamic Lock?
The Dynamic Lock feature uses the proximity of a Bluetooth-paired phone to Lock and Unlock Windows 10.
How does it work?
Dynamic Lock lets you control access to your PC based on how close your Bluetooth-paired phone is to the PC.It measures the strength of the radio signal between your PC and the paired phone at a regular interval. It means that if the Bluetooth-paired phone is not found within radio range of your PC then Windows 10 will turn off the screen and locks the PC after 30 seconds. This new OS feature is known to some as “Windows Goodbye,” and some OEMs refer to this feature as “proximity lock.”
Setting Up Dynamic Lock:
To setup dynamic lock
1. You must first pair your phone over the Bluetooth with your Windows 10 based PC.
